LeMans Leads to Hoffman Cup

Life can make you pause sometimes to really appreciate what you have. David Carlson shared one of those moments, proudly displaying the latest CVR AutoX Series apparel at LeMans with his family. Driving from Tetre Rouge, down the entire Mulsanne straight, and all the way back to the Porsche curves, even in a rental, made for a special trip! I’m sure Al Holbert is looking down with a smile, doubtful that it matches David’s.

Another special moment, David used his LeMans experience as inspiration to drive really well at the September CVR AutoX held at Lime Rock Park. He set the fastest Improved Class time to take home a limited edition 917K artwork trophy. On such a stunning day, in the company of so many friends, in arguably the best AutoX site in the country, it was definitely worthy of a good long…pause...

Now your turn. Join us October 16th for the final CVR AutoX of the season. This last event is always special. Not only will you get to drive an AutoX that morning, but then everyone gets a nice catered lunch courtesy of the enthusiasts at Hoffman Porsche, and to watch true motorsport fun as the Top-20 drivers put on a show like no other in the country. The now famous Hoffman Cup Run Off event will be held as soon as the nail biting scores are calculated. Share in the fun, drama, wonderful camaraderie, and great driving on display, as each of the Top-20 apply their accumulated AutoX-University honed driving skills for the honor of winning a place on the coveted Hoffman Cup. What car will Hoffman Porsche bring? What will the “final exam” course offer to test those drivers? F1 “Quali 3” has nothing on this event. Even if you won’t have three AutoX events completed this season, or may have missed one of the Run Off spots, it’s a fantastic event to watch and the best way to start your journey towards the 2022 Hoffman Cup.
