Joe Kunecki, Race Director, CVR Club Race

We are currently moving forward with our plans for the 2023 CVR Club Race. This is still a fairly quiet time for the Club Race team, so there really isn’t much news to announce at this point. However, we do have some updates that I would like to pass along:

• We are speaking with both Lime Rock Park and PCA national on the dates for the of the 2023 race. The initial feedback from both Lime Rock Park and PCA indicates that the race dates will be pretty similar to what we have had in the past, late April. We will let everyone know as soon as the dates are confirmed.
• Don Phelan is moving up to the role of Sponsorship Director for Club Race, taking the place of Mike Appel. Many of you will remember Don for the time he spent as CVR Treasurer.  Mike has stepped back from his role as sponsorship director, but has agreed to stay on to train Don in his new role. Mike will remain with the Club Race team and will be exploring new roles within the Club Race team.
