SUMMARY:Sept. 27 -29: Fall Tour\, Mount Tremper\, NY
DESCRIPTION:This year our fall tour is based at the Emerson Resort & Spa\, Mount Tremper\, NY in the Catskills. \nWe went here in 2017 and it was a great place for a tour. The hotel was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The location is a close drive and has beautiful views of the mountains and is located in the Catskill Forest Preserve. The hotel is a small boutique hotel that caters to its guests. \nEmerson’s backstory is a tribute to the legendary essayist/poet Ralph Waldo Emerson who\, inspired by the beauty of the area wrote the essay\, “Nature”. \nThe Emerson offers a wonderful spa which offers a menu of holistic treatments\, yoga studio and a fitness center. The Emerson also has the country’s largest Kaleidoscope which is located in the silo. \nThe Emerson is a short drive to the artsy town of Woodstock which has a 1960’s feel with tie-dyed shirts\, jewelry\, crafts\, art galleries and boutiques. \nYou will travel to Mount Tremper on your own on Friday\, September 27th. We are planning on having a club barbecue on Friday night from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. This will be a separate charge. \nOn Saturday\, Sept. 28th\, breakfast will be served from 7:00 – 8:30 a.m. Our drive will start at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be at the Old Schoolhouse Inn & Restaurant. \nSaturday evening we have a cocktail hour scheduled from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner and door prizes. \nDress for the weekend is casual. \nEmerson Resort & Spa is offering lodge rooms and inn rooms. All packages include 2 nights lodging\, breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night dinner includes all taxes and gratuity. DESCRIPTION:The CVR 2023 fall tour will be based in Freeport\, Maine at the Harraseeket Inn. This is a short walk to the LL Bean flagship store. The Inn is a 93 room luxury AAA Four Diamond Inn and is on the north end of the Freeport shopping area. \nYou will travel to Freeport on your own on Friday\, September 22nd. \nOn Saturday\, September 23rd and Sunday\, September 24th\, breakfast will be served in the Maine Harvest Restaurant. We will have our drivers meeting in the Merry Meeting Room at 8:30 a.m. with a quick group photo on the front steps and departure at 9:15 a.m. \nSaturday evening we have a cocktail hour scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed by dinner and door prize. \nDress for the weekend is casual. \nLODGING AND LUNCH DETAILS \nThe package includes the following: 2 nights lodging\, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning\, Saturday night dinner and all taxes and gratuities.
