SUMMARY:Oct. 29 CANCELLED: Early Bird Coffee Run - Scituate Reservoir Coffee Run (Mystic to Plainfield)
DESCRIPTION:This Cofee run was rescheduled from October 29 to November 5\, due to rainy forecast\, but that date conflicts with CVR’s Annual Meeting.  This run is CANCELLED for both Oct 29 and Nov 5. \nStart – Starbucks\, 12 Coogan Blvd\, Mystic CT. \nRest Stop – Dunkin’\, 1199 Chopmist Hill Road North\, Scituate\, RI. \nFinish – McDonald’s\, 796 Norwich Road\, Plainfield\, CT. \nTotal Distance: 102 Miles. \nThis run will start a bit early to beat the traffic. Meet up at 7:00 a.m.\, driver’s meeting at 7:30 a.m.\, leaving promptly at 7:45 a.m.  \nThe Early Bird Scituate Reservoir Coffee Run will begin in Mystic\, CT and end in Plainfield\, CT. We will head north out of Mystic on some very scenic roads\, and then east into Rhode Island. We will circle the Scituate Reservoir and then head west back into CT. \nThere will be a rest stop at the 61-mile mark. We will then head south onto some more scenic and twisty roads. The final stop will be at McDonald’s in Plainfield. There is also Mr. Z’s right next door\, if you care for an early lunch on your own. \nTotal drive is 102 miles. Easy access to Route 395 at the end of the run for returning north or south. \nPlease note that paper directions will not be provided. Please utilize the “Ride With GPS” app\, generously donated to the club by Hagerty Insurance Co. Also note that the app needs to be set up ahead of time and it will not be possible the day of since adding members is a manual process.
