On Saturday, October 18th, CVR Community Service will again be partnering with the People’s Choice Concours to support Protectors of Animals (POA), a non-profit, primarily volunteer, no-kill organization whose mission is to increase the quality of life for all dogs and cats in the communities they serve.  We’ll be collecting dog and cat food (dry and wet), kitty litter, treats and monetary donations at the entrance to the event.

Last year’s Concours participants were generous and donated over 650 pounds of dry dog and cat food and 100 cans of wet food plus kitty litter, treats, toys, and monetary donations. The Region also presented Protectors of Animals with a check for $750.
