No Trick, A TREAT!
Saturday, October 12th was the last race for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Road Atlanta, known as Petit LeMans, a 10 hour race.

The weekend of June 28th – 30th was the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship at Watkins Glen in New York. One of the three Northeast races followed by the Canadian Tire race and then our local race at Lime Rock.
The 20th Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta
This year Road Atlanta celebrated the 20th Petit Le Mans at its 2.54 mile, 11-turn track. The weather was fan-tastic with 77° for the high and 55° for the low. Thankfully the rain from the hurricane that caused me to miss the Thursday night practice due to my flight arriving late into Atlanta stopped later that night.
Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park
The weather at Lime Rock Park cooperated this year, sunny but not extremely hot with temperatures only reaching the 80’s versus the high 90’s of last year. Lime Rock is the second of two Northeast races, Watkins Glen the other, bookending the Mobil1 Grand Prix at Bowmanville, Canada and the 24 hours of Le Mans.
