The overall guiding principle, as always, is the health and safety of our members, their families, CVR sponsors and our communities. We have to adhere to the requirements from PCA along with the state and municipal guidelines for where are events are held.
Participants need to bring:
- Face mask (required)
- Other personal protective equipment particularly hand sanitizer and gloves, are recommended
- A pen for signing the waiver (To minimize contact of items between participants, there will be one waiver per car. )
Participants need to take these steps to protect yourself and others:
- Stay home if you are sick or if you have a temperature higher than normal
- Stay home if you have been in contact with someone in the last two weeks who has been sick
- Practice social distancing of at least 6 feet between participants
- Wear your face mask when in the presence of others
- Physical contact is discouraged
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (or alternately, use an alcohol based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol) especially before eating and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
- Refrain from touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Consider your personal circumstances that may make you more susceptible to becoming infected and/or make fighting the virus more difficult when deciding to participate
It is anticipated that maintaining social distancing (at a minimum of 6 feet) will difficult during the time we gather prior to the run, during the mandatory safety briefing and at the rest stop, therefore, wearing a face mask at those times is required.
Thank you in advance for doing your part in helping us put on a safer event.
