Once again, it’s time for CVR to confirm, “It’s Not Just the Cars, It’s the People.”

CVR’s Community Service activity will be holding a first-ever, regionwide Food Drive, on Saturday, March 13, 2021, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Note: the rain/snow date is March 20th, at the same time.

Drop-off locations will be hosted by Board members, with help from member volunteers, who will be responsible for the organization and delivery of items to a food bank, personally chosen by each sponsoring venue.

PLEASE come on out, so we can fill up many boxes. Let’s show our less-fortunate, hungry neighbors that we care.

Items needed are as follows—(Please, no fresh, frozen, or expired items)

Food

• Canned goods; fruits, vegetables, meats, fish (such as Spam, tuna)
• Boxed cereals, cookies, pasta
• Sauces (pasta sauce, condiments
• Fruit and vegetable drinks,
• Milk (evaporated, condensed, boxed)

Household

• Paper products
• Cleaning supplies
• Laundry products
• Disinfectants

Pet Food

• Cans only (no bags)

Personal products

• Diapers
• Soap, shampoo
• Toothpaste, floss, brushes

Follow the signs carefully, remember some of you will be dropping off at new car dealerships.

Stay in your car, a CVR member wearing proper COVID-19 virus protection wear will come to the car and take your items.
