Northwest Passage Coffee Run – Sept 14th

“It’s all about driving your Porsche…..everything else is just waiting “

Well, that’s not exactly the Steve McQueen line, but who amongst us has not felt that way at one time or another – even Steve.

So in the spirit of putting all that unpleasant waiting behind us, I have scheduled a coffee run for Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Our point of departure will be Dan Jacob’s Hairy Dog Grrrarge ( if you plan to attend, kindly RSVP me by Wednesday September 11, so that we have a headcount for AM refreshments, courtesy of HDG. A big Thank-you to Dan!!

We will convene at 8:30 AM to sign onto our journey. After a brief driver & navigator meeting, we will release our itching Gypsy feet onto the road less traveled.

Motoring on a Northwest passage thru the towns of Roxbury, Washington, & Sharon, viewing old white churches, colonial homes, stone walls & farms situated on rolling hills, all the while following Porsche-friendly roads.

Our continuing scenic meander will bring us to the Empire State & an invigorating “hill climb”. This may not be “The Hill” in Colorado, but all the same, it will provide some enjoys, and maybe an occasional Yikes!! At this point a pit stop will be in order. We will take a break while still in N.Y. State. Once refueled, we will begin the second leg of our foray. Returning to Connecticut and passing thru the “border towns” of Sharon & Salisbury, we will enjoy the vistas of our background as our trek continues to unfold. As time passes but does not pass away, we will journey to a luncheon destination.

Please Note: lunch will be on our own. We will gather in a central location in the Litchfield Commons. Options in the immediate area include: @ The Corner, The Village Restaurant, The Saltwater Grill, Ollie’s Pizza, and The West Street Grille.

In the event of inclement weather I will reschedule the event. Any questions feel free to email me Sean Leahy.
