Dunkin Donuts in Ludlow, MA to Kringle Candle in Bernardston, MA

This one is set up nicely for those CVR members in the northern part of our region or of course, any member that would like to attend a great route in the Northern Berkshires.  The start and end points are right off major highways so it is quick and easy getting to and home from almost anywhere.

We start at the Dunkin Donuts at 4 Harding Ave, Ludlow, MA 01056 directly across from the Mass Pike Exit (exit 7 Ludlow). There is also a Starbucks across the street for anyone with a preference.  There is also some extra big most empty parking lot right next door where a Friendly’s recently closed. We will plan to stage there.  Meet at 9:00 am for coffee. Drivers meeting at 9:30 and depart immediately after. Total distance is 118 miles.

The roads in this area are twisty, hilly and tight, perfect for you and your Porsche to enjoy on a Sunday morning in August. The mountain views are wonderful. Our route even takes us over an old time wooden covered bridge. We will carve through the northern Berkshire hills and along side various rivers up into Vermont and back to the end stop at Kringle Candle which is close to route 91.

We have a planned rest stop about half way in and will end the run at The Farm Table Restaurant, 219 South St, Bernardston MA 01337 at the Kringle Candle complex in time for lunch if you care to join us.  Each party is responsible for paying for their own lunch tab.
