Northwest Passage Coffee Run

Its all about driving your Porsche, everything else is just waiting.

On Saturday, September 14 Dan Jacobs Hairy Dog Grrrage was the starting point for the Northwest Passage Coffee Run. The Porsche marque was well represented by a nice cross-section of Boxsters, Caymans, Carreras ( Cabs, Coupes, Targas, and Turbos) a Macan & a 944s. A total of 42 cars, drivers & navigators arrived and were treated to complimentary coffee and doughnuts courtesy of Dan Jacobs..thanks, Dan. To add to the convivial atmosphere a raffle was held with prizes consisting of “The Official Northwest Passage Commemorative Road Tunes C.D.” as well as, two special prizes donated by Dan… Big Thanks again, Dan!

After our driver & navigator meeting, it was time to— “Let’s fire ‘em up & move on out.”

As we journeyed along the road less travelled, navigating the twists & turns, and an invigorating “Hill” climb a famous quote from Ferry Porsche came to mind, “I couldn’t find the Sports-car of my dreams, so I built it. All of us were so happy that he did!!

Soon it was time for a pit stop in Dover Plains N.Y. Once refused and refreshed we were on the road again, on the second leg of our foray and excursions end in Litchfield Ct.

Many of us opted to share lunch at the Litchfield Saltwater Grille. Giving us all the opportunity to share the commonality of the Porsche experience with our fellow enthusiasts.

“I see a bend in the road up ahead, I wonder what’s around it?

Kindly join us next time *
