Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 virus pandemic, the CVR Spring Tour has been cancelled. My highest priority, as well as that of the CVR board, is the health, safety and well-being of CVR members and their families. I have been continuously monitoring the situation both here in Connecticut and Vermont. Vermont has just instituted a statewide stay at home order, closed all non-essential businesses and issued a 2 week self-quarantine for non-Vermonters entering the state. The Taconic Hotel has closed until at least May 13th. The lunch venue for the tour has closed indefinitely. We will prevail over the Covid-19 virus but not in time to continue with our Spring Tour. I am disappointed that we will not be able to be together on our tour as planned but do look forward to when we can be touring again. I have contacted all the participants about this decision.
