4/24/22 Zig Zag, the lower part of the state, Coffee Run. We met at 8:30 am at the Starbucks on High Ridge Road in Stamford and were off by 9 am, driving approximately 60 miles. With a partly cloudy day and a high of 60, despite the fact that Caffeine and Carburetors (https://caffeineandcarburetors.com) held their 1st car show of the year on the same day and there was another CVR PCA Coffee Run, we had 10 Porsches and 13 members partake in the drive on great roads and great views of mansions in Greenwich, CT and then back into Stamford, CT. Lots of fun!
For Caffeine and Carburetors, I find that if I am there by 7 am (and park near the entrance stating “I’m not staying long”) I can go hang out for an hour or so and make it back for the 8:30 start of our Coffee Run. As a Porsche group, we make a very good showing and usually take over an entire area of “The Porsche Coral”.
