About us

The Connecticut Valley Region (CVR) of The Porsche Club of America (PCA) was founded in 1959. We enjoy the comfort of good friends and good conversation, and we praise to a fault the world’s finest automobile. We race one another, show our prized cars, and conduct rallies, autocrosses and tours. “IT’S NOT JUST THE CARS, IT’S THE PEOPLE.”

CVR is looking for a volunteer videographer to help capture and share the energy of our events throughout the season. This role is flexible and project-based, ideal for someone with prior video experience who enjoys creating engaging content and wants to contribute to the club.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality video clips at selected CVR events (on-track and off-track).

• Provide raw footage or light edits suitable for social media and the CVR website.

• Coordinate with the Social Media team to highlight key moments and member experiences.

Experience & Skills:

• Comfortable shooting video with a DSLR, action camera, or high-quality phone.

• Basic understanding of framing, motion, and audio.

• Familiarity with simple video editing tools is a plus.

Support and guidance will be provided, and expectations are reasonable and flexible.

What a way to kick off 2026! Our first monthly meeting of the year at The Trailer Depot in Northford, CT had a fantastic turnout, lots of great conversation, and plenty of pancakes. Huge thanks to Mike Duhamel for hosting and to everyone who came out to start the year with CVR PCA. Here’s to an exciting 2026 ahead!
