This year our fall tour is based at the Emerson Resort & Spa, Mount Tremper, NY in the Catskills.
We went here in 2017 and it was a great place for a tour. The hotel was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The location is a close drive and has beautiful views of the mountains and is located in the Catskill Forest Preserve. The hotel is a small boutique hotel that caters to its guests.
Emerson’s backstory is a tribute to the legendary essayist/poet Ralph Waldo Emerson who, inspired by the beauty of the area wrote the essay, “Nature”.
The Emerson offers a wonderful spa which offers a menu of holistic treatments, yoga studio and a fitness center. The Emerson also has the country’s largest Kaleidoscope which is located in the silo.
The Emerson is a short drive to the artsy town of Woodstock which has a 1960’s feel with tie-dyed shirts, jewelry, crafts, art galleries and boutiques.
