Bob is a 20-year PCA member and an avid motorsports photographer. As Chief Technology Officer for Cooper Union College in NYC he supports the Formula FSAE program where students conceive, design and fabricate a small open-cockpit formula car to compete against other schools. He and his wife, Deborah have participated in many CVR events while enjoying their 911 Carrera GTS and Cayenne Coupe

I’ve always believed that my car is an extension of my personality and anyone who’s ever seen me with my Boxster tells me we were made for each other. I’m lucky enough to say my husband, Alex, bought me my 987.1 Boxster this year for a milestone birthday, and I’m still in disbelief that she’s actually mine.
My love of Porsche really started because of Alex. He owns a 996 Turbo, and on our very first date he took me out in it. I had no idea driving could feel like that. It wasn’t until I got behind the wheel of my own mid-engined beauty that I truly understood what “fun to drive” means. The way she handles corners is unlike anything else. Alex encouraged me to try AutoX “just once” to get to know the car better and sharpen my skills. Little did he know I’d fall completely in love with the sport.
I went to every AutoX event this year, even Zone 1, and I wouldn’t have progressed the way I have without people like Paul Kudra and my instructor, Brian Fournier. Their enthusiasm and passion made me want to keep coming back to every CVR event.
Just recently I have started learning how to work on my own car too. It’s become almost as rewarding as driving her.
I can’t wait to see what next season brings! Send it!
