Coffee Run Wrap Up – Winter 2018

Westchester Loop Coffee Run – Sunday, August 26, 2018

Finally, after two rain outs we had a great day, with sunny skies and a temperature of 69 degrees at 8:30 am. Fifteen Porsches and 23 members headed out for a drive at 9:05 am and made it to the morning break by 9:51 am. After a short pause we were back on the road to our lunch stop at Outbacks. Fourteen cars stayed for lunch, including first-timer Patti, with her amazing 1988 911 Targa, which she bought it new and has only 16,000 original miles! Believe it or not she only just recently joined CVR, Welcome Patti, we know that we will see you again.

Windmill Coffee Run – Sunday, August 19, 2018

We had a great day for one of our most popular Coffee Runs which winds its way through Fairfield County looking to encounter as many (what else) windmills as we can find. Following are a few photos for your enjoyment.

Zig Zag Coffee Run – Sunday, September 9, 2018

Sunday at 8:30 am was an overcast 52 degrees, but the cool weather did not deter 12 Porsches and 18 members from showing up for this popular event. We were off into a light drizzle at 9:10 am for a Zig Zag run thorough Stamford and Greenwich, with great scenery and beautiful mansions keeping us company. Ten members stayed on for lunch and everyone had an enjoyable day despite the less than beautiful weather.
