Calling all drivers: students, solo drivers and instructors.  Yes, it is once again that time of the year when we put away the snow toys, skis, snowmobiles, ice skates and whatever else you have fun with when it’s cold and snowy outside, in anticipation of a new DE season.

Now it’s time for us to go and have some fun on the track with your favorite DE program – yes, I’m talking about CVR’s DE. Our first event on the DE schedule is Monday, April 11. We will have a full day, with all run groups, so plenty of track time so that you can get yourself back into the DE groove.  For beginners, pick this event as your entrance to DE.

We then have another DE scheduled for April 21, the day before the PCA club race.  It’s the perfect event for those doing the CVR PCA club race on April 22-23. This event will be for advanced solo drivers only, with a two rungroup format, allowing for plenty of track time and car prep. 

For those of you who procrastinated about getting your car ready for the season, run don’t walk, well, technically, drive to one of our great DE shops and have them prep your car.  Need brakes or rotors?   Better to do it now rather than finding out right before an event that you need parts.

And please, remember that the 2010 helmets are now officially expired and cannot be used at any more PCA DE events.  If you have put off getting a new helmet, you need to get into action and buy a new helmet.   Take a trip down to Stable Energies Motorsports and try on helmets.   They have a wide range to choose from – different makes and models and sizes.  

Please bring your helmet to morning registration.  Each helmet will be checked out to make sure that it is date compliant and you’ll get a special 2022 sticker to put on your helmet.
