Porsches are built for the track first and as an everyday grocery-getter second.

CVR had a lot of things going on at our DE on May 13th, from a food drive, to a t-shirt giveaway and of course, our on track sessions.
CVR instructors will try their hardest to make you a good driver.
The 2023 CVR DE program is ready to kick-off the season on Monday, April 10 at Lime Rock Park.
It looked like we were going to have a cold but dry day but the flurries turned out to be several good accumulating inches of the white stuff.
We will start off our season with our Winter Workshop Car Control Clinic at Lime Rock Park, followed by DE events at both Lime Rock and Watkins Glen, from April until November.
We had terrific weather for our final DE of the 2022 season. We gave out awards, the photographers took fantastic pictures, and everyone had a great time driving. What a day!
Monday’s weather was fantastic. We had a beautiful fall day with cool temperatures and blue skies. The drivers and especially the cars loved it. We ran with only two rungroups so everyone had tons of track time.
It was a summer for DE t-shirts. Each driver got a shirt at the August DE. Then we gave out a different shirt for all of the drivers at the September DE.
CVR is lucky to have a great group of people come down from Canada to join us at our Watkins Glen events. We missed them in 2020 and 2021 due to the border closing.
For those of you who still want to get out and participate at a Driver’s Education event, we still have several events remaining for the 2022 season.
DE is a fun-filled event for everyone in the family to enjoy and is where you will meet some really nice people who not only share the love of Porsches but also enjoy using them for what they were built for – driving. Our next DE is on July 11, 2022.
Don’t get caught up with becoming a solo driver. Have fun and learn all you can from having an instructor in the car with you. When you do become solo, continue to seek instruction so that you don’t get into any bad habits on track.
DE won’t necessarily make you the next Patrick Long but it does help make you more situationally aware of your surroundings.
Calling all drivers: students, solo drivers and instructors! Put away the snow toys, skis, snowmobiles, ice skates and whatever else you have fun with when it’s cold and snowy outside, in anticipation of a new DE season!
The CVR 2022 DE season got off to a wet and snowy start – we could not have asked for better conditions for our Winter Workshop Car Control Clinic.
