Upcoming Westchester Loop & Coffee Run Recaps with Galleries

Upcoming Coffee Run: Westchester Loop- 7/10/22

Once again, we will take a nice drive through lower Fairfield County and then into Westchester County, past the Kensico Dam and around that reservoir, then back to Wilton, CT for lunch. The Run is approximately 72 miles total.

No need to register.

If you do not have the Ride with GPS app, connect me with your Porsche Club ID # and we will get you approved (this CANNOT be done the day of the Run).

Annual Windmill Coffee Run

6/11/22 – Our annual Windmill Coffee Run was great. After filling up ½ a tank of premium gas at $5.99 per gallon, we had 15 Porsches that showed up. Despite a gloomy weather forecast all week, the sky was bright blue with a light warm breeze. After our driver’s meeting, we were off by 9:06, snaking through some great back roads, past the windmills and on to our morning stop. After the break we were off again, to our lunch stop, where several of us enjoyed great company and lunch.

Water Wheel Coffee Run

6/18/22 – Water Wheel Coffee Run. The morning was cool, sunny and later described as “breezy-ish”, with 12 Porsches and 19 members making the run. After hearing about a seven-car accident on the Meritt southbound, we gave everyone a bit more time to arrive and by 9:10 we had our driver’s meeting and we were off. Our Run took us through lower Fairfield County, past the Water Wheel in New Canaan, CT, and then into Westchester, NY and finally back to the Parkway Diner for lunch where five of us had lunch, including the owner of the 1976 Targa S, fully restored, mint car.
