Springing into Action: Exciting CVR Events on the Horizon

While we have enjoyed a relatively mild winter this year with unusual highs and virtually no snowfall, as I sit and write this, there are about 3 inches of snow on the ground and much more continuing to fall, with estimates of upwards of 7 inches. Winter is giving one final push, but rest assured, spring is right around the corner.

As winter comes to a close and the first day of spring approaches, Porsche enthusiasts and CVR members have lots to look forward to.  From national racing events to over 50 local CVR events already on the calendar, there is something for everyone.  In Noelle Talmon’s article, she reviews Porsche’s long and celebrated history in the world of motorsports, while Walt Hyjek shows us the future of Porsche racing and outlines upcoming races.

Locally, Joe Kunecki reminds us that Club Race is right around the corner with a need for volunteers. Volunteers fuel the club while allowing participants a great way to be part of the team behind the scenes.  From special events to coffee runs, to maintaining the website, there is a niche for everyone; reach and find out how you can help!

As the weather begins to warm, remember to grab your name badges, CVR gear and come out to one of the upcoming coffee runs, monthly meetings, or DE and AutoX events.

As I finalize the March issue, the sun has already poked out, the roads have been cleared and the snow is melting rapidly.  So, mark your calendars and get ready for an amazing season ahead!
