“Good Morning Everyone and welcome to PCA Connecticut Valley Region’s 31st Club Race Day at the beautiful and iconic Lime Rock Park!”

It was a picture perfect morning in Lakeville, at Lime Rock Park, as I began the announcing and programming for this year’s CVR Club Race. This was my third consecutive year volunteering for Club Race and second as the public address voice from the tower.   

In between all of the racing, I was able to sit down with both CVR President, Shelley Krohnengold and CVR Club Race Director, Joe Kunecki.  Both agreed to my interview requests (as if they didn’t have more to do!). From the interviews, I hope that you get a sense of the spirit and efforts that went into planning this year’s event. CVR is blessed to have this world-class track in our backyard, mixed with an amazing team of volunteers.

To our fellow PCA and CVR members who were unable to participate this year, this is truly one of the unique events on the calendar and I highly encourage you to get involved in next year’s event!
