We are planning an Early Bird Coffee Run on August 5^th to coincide with CVR’s Special Event – Porsches at The Rock.

Arrive at 7:00 a.m., Driver’s Meeting at 7:30 a.m.

Start – McDonald’s, 1799 Farmington Avenue, Unionville, CT

Rest stop – Dunkin’, 494 Main St, Great Barrington, MA

Finish – Lime Rock Park, Lakeville, CT

Total Distance: 128 miles.

This run will start a bit early to beat the traffic. Meet up at 7:00 a.m., driver’s meeting at 7:30 a.m., leaving promptly after drivers meeting.

This is a multi-state route, leading us to CVR’s Special Event – Porsches at The Rock. The ride will start at the Farmington Avenue McDonald’s parking lot, travel into Litchfield County, the Berkshires in Massachusetts, into New York and end back in Connecticut at Lime Rock Park. Another good name for this coffee run could have been The Water Route. We will pass and drive alongside rivers, lakes, reservoirs, streams and ponds. Water will sometimes be on your right, and other times on your left. It is a long twisty route in very remote country. The rest stop will be at the 70-mile mark, as there is very little commercial business as we drive through several quaint New England towns.

Once at Lime Rock Park, you can park your car on the Midway, with all of the other Porsches and walk around to check out the sponsor/vendor displays and the food trucks, with food for purchase.   Watch the AutoX and DE action, from the hillside.
