PYLON PLACE: Trashed to Treasured

After miles of delay, there they were; skid marks and bent guardrail. Modern safety standards lead us to think the people were probably okay, but the car was trashed. Odds are that you’ve seen something similar or have been much closer than you wanted to be to such an accident. Blame and fault are irrelevant went it’s happening around you. All that matters is your well-practiced training to avoid it.

Unrehearsed avoidance moves are not likely to happen when needed, or to end well. However, proper split-second reactions become instinct when regularly practiced. Practice makes you well-calibrated to the amazing capabilities of your car and how to apply those at any moment, plus judgement that increases the odds you will never need to.

CVR’s May 10th AutoX is your next chance to calibrate those skills. Where better than in the safety of a big parking lot with soft, clean, vinyl cones? What better speeds to practice them than those similar to what you drive on the roads and highways of Connecticut? How better learned than with guidance from an AutoX-University Professor in your passenger seat? What better motorsport fun can you have for $40 than at a CVR AutoX? Treasure your car by learning it’s true capabilities. Join us on May 10th, you will thank us on your ride home.
