Bill will share a little bit about himself, the history of Lime Rock Park, what’s new and being planned for Lime Rock, and what special events we can expect for 2022.

About Bill:
Bill is one of the three general partners of Lime Rock Group, LLC the entity that purchased Lime Rock Park from Skip Barber last year. Bill has been an active HPDE participant for many years, primarily at Lime Rock with the BMWCCA where he has been a member for over 40 years. Bill’s background is in finance and investments and he has been involved in a variety of businesses during his career. He started his professional life as a Wall Street banker at Brown Brothers Harriman and has run businesses in the oil and gas industry, real estate and resort development and later managed an investment fund specializing in community banks. Bill also has a very active non-profit life and among his current roles, he is president of a charitable foundation, Chairman of the Board of Teachers College, Columbia University and Chairman of the Board of the YMCA Retirement Fund.
Bill’s has owned many BMW’s (no Porsches), his early BMW’s included a 1969 2002, 1972 2002tii and a 1973 2002. His favorite is his current 1989 E30 M3 that sees the Lime Rock track often and his current daily driver is a JCW Mini that also finds its way to Lime Rock Park.
He grew up driving too fast on the back roads of rural New Hampshire and Vermont and never had a formal track day until moving to Connecticut and attending the Skip Barber 1-day advanced driving school, as well as, the 3-day racing school. He is also a member of the Lime Rock Drivers Club.
