It goes without saying that one rarely encounters Porsche’s homologation specials. To CVR’s benefit, we are fortunate to have a member who has carefully sourced not one, but all significant 911 RS variants and many 356 four-cam models. Moreover, this member has been very intentional to share his collection and not simply tuck his cars away in a warehouse. That member is none other than Steven Harris, and he has spent the past twenty (or so) years assembling one of the greatest collections of Porsches.

You may have first experienced part of Steven’s collection at the 2016 Porsche Parade in Jay Peak, Vermont. Opportunity would have struck again if you visited the Saratoga Automobile Museum to see two different displays of his Porsches. Or perhaps you attended the 2021 Lime Rock Historic Festival showcasing each 911 RS. And even if you were fortunate to participate in all of these events, you may be like me and still seek more. Well… you’re in luck!

Steven, in partnership with the Saratoga Auto Museum, notably Stephen Struss, as well as his visionary photographer, Jamie Lipman, have developed a wonderful book highlighting Steven’s most notable Porsches. The book is called “Air & Water,” and the first publicly available copy was auctioned off at CVR’s Morning Coffee with Wayne Carini event back in October of 2022.

Stunning photography is accompanied by commentary from notable Porsche insiders. There’s something for every Porsche enthusiast, whether you are an air-cooled devotee or appreciate Porsche’s most track-focused water-cooled variety. Air & Water takes you on a journey through Porsche’s most significant road-legal 356 and 911 variants.
