With the weather being so pleasant, the parking lot at FCP Euro started to look like a Porsche show. Porsche’s of every variety showed up shiny and clean and in an assortment of colors.
CVR members made their way to Poppy’s Classic Car Storage in Danbury. Stacked up around the bright and airy interior of the buildings were many varieties of beautiful collector cars.
Co-hosts Brett Sloan of Sloan Motors and Don Vidoli of Fairfield County Motorsport welcomed CVR members to the April 2023 meeting.
This was the sixth CVR event to be hosted by Automobilia over the years.
CVR kicked off the 2023 season with our January monthly meeting, held at The Trailer Deport in Northford.
Our presentation for the evening was done by Porsche Danbury’s Mike DeMilt who touched on Porsche’s renewed focus on having their customers also be influencers for the brand.
Here we are in 2023. We are off to a good start to bring you a full calendar of monthly meetings for 2023. There will probably be some changes but we are definitely moving back towards normalcy and that is a great thing.
60 CVR members made their way to Billings Media, located in Glastonbury, for a Thursday night meeting. The Billings team offers dry ice blasting.
The September monthly meeting was hosted by CVR sponsor Hoffman Porsche and the featured topic was electricity. Our hosts planned a Q&A format to answer many questions on the future direction of Porsche EVs.
With over 100 members attending, the monthly meeting, hosted by Porsche of Fairfield, was our most popular in-person meeting so far this year.
At our June Monthly Meeting, CVR members caught up with one another while enjoying a nice pizza truck dinner provided by general manager Steve Gilligan and Porsche of Wallingford.
After two years and two months, the CVR membership finally got together for an in-person monthly meeting held at Automobilia Auto Salon in West Haven.
CVR is excited to announce the launch of our “in-person” monthly meeting program for 2022! Mark your calendars for Saturday May 14th, 10am – Noon.
We are close to having that first in-person kickoff monthly meeting and when we have the details finalized, the invitations will be sent out, so watch your inbox.
We are as eager to get back to in-person monthly meetings as much as you are to attend one.
