The prime ingredient to a successful weekend tour is great group of participants. Luckily with a club like CVR we always achieve this without any effort on our part. Another ingredient is the hotel, we do our best and some years are better than others.

The 2019 CVR calendar has been hashed out and we have finalized this year’s dates for Rally. Rally will have three events on the calendar this year; the Spring Rally (May 5), Rally Academy (June 30) and the Fall Rally (September 22).
The first subject we hear a question on is always something about a helmet; What rating does a helmet require? Does a helmet expire? What brand is best? There are many more questions, but here are the answers to these three questions:
We hope you all had a nice holiday. At time of writing, the annual planning meeting is scheduled for this Saturday and the CVR calendar is filling up. As we nestle in for winter we turn our thoughts to planning the Rally events of 2019.
Well, here we go again. Are you ready for the 2019 CVR DE season? If not, now is the time to get all things DE-related in order. Don’t be that person who waits until one week prior to the first event to get their car looked over. Once spring comes, the shops/sponsors are swamped with their work load for DE, Club Racing and just general street driving.

Starting work on another new year of Challenge is always somewhat of a bittersweet experience, I will of course miss working with the regulars that I have gotten to know over the last few years, but then again there are also new board members and activity chairs who are just starting out as well.
