The temperatures have been steadily rising and even though it is not “officially” summer, there is no denying that the season of barbecues, all things outdoors and long drives has arrived!  CVR has put together an extensive list of in person activities perfect to take advantage of the weather in your Porsche of choice – with the top down of course.

James Ball has two coffee runs scheduled this month that wrap around winding roads in New York & CT (click for more info).   Rich Adua’s Coffee Run is scheduled for June 25^th and concludes at Lyman Orchards where CVR has put together a family fun event.  Find all the details in this month’s Special Events column – CVR Presents: A Summer Family Gathering.   As you partake in CVR events this summer, it’s the perfect time to get an “official” CVR name badge and of course additional CVR gear to let fellow members know who you are!

More exciting news? All the details about PCA Zone One Getaway Weekend have been released.  This year’s weekend will be taking place in Ithaca, NY and space is extremely limited. This month’s feature has all the itinerary details and information on how to register. And speaking about planning ahead and I do mean ahead (2023 to be exact), Walt Hyjek provides preliminary details for the Porsche Rennsport Reunion.

After penciling in the plethora of upcoming events you plan on attending, take some time to read about our recent events.  These past months CVR members have kept busy!  The Annual Member Sampler was held after the pandemic hiatus. Jeff Coe hosted CVR’s first in-person monthly meeting at Automobilia Auto Salon (and gave out awards).  Then there’s DE & AutoX – Paul Kudra and Dave Vaccaro have been busy (of course).

With great weather, great cars, and great company (I’m talking about CVR members btw), summer is off to an amazing “unofficial” start.
