Volunteers and sponsors contributed significantly to the exceptional success of the 2021 CVR Club Race. The race represented well Porsche’s heritage of mechanical excellence and driver competence.

The first-ever CVR Regionwide Food Drive was a success.  Impressive goodwill and brilliant sunshine were in abundance on March 13.  I thank the club members who generously donated food, which will provide sustenance to many families suffering hunger or struggling with food insecurity.

The CVR Regionwide Food Drive, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For many years, CVR motto has been, “It’s not just the cars, it’s the people.” Please enliven the motto by donating food.

The primary goals for the year are a return to normalcy, revitalization of social media, and a new website. Other primary goals are a first-ever region-wide food drive and a membership campaign.

A return to normalcy will be a welcome respite. Our car club is arguably not essential to our lives; however, its activities are diversions from the many responsibilities and pressures that monopolize our attention and time.

Congratulations to the slate of officers elected for the 2021-2022 term.

Looking at the CVR 2020 calendar, it mirrors the progression of the Covid-19 pandemic’s impact.

Watching the fall foliage changing our view everyday brings home one of the extra benefits that we get for living in New England.
